适耕庄渔米之乡
“稻香村”就是位於雪蘭莪州北部的適耕莊。這裡不但稻田處處，更是一個漁產豐富的海港，得天獨厚的地理位置，讓她因此贏得“漁米之鄉”的美名。
Sekinchan is in the middle of the main rice-bowl area of Selangor, in the Sabak Bernam district. It is one of the major rice producing areas of Malaysia. Sekinchan in Chinese mean “village suitable for plantation’, the land and weather is suitable for farming of rice, fruits and oil palm trees. It is the highest rice production per acre in Malaysia. Total farming land paddy and fruits is about 4,300 acres. You can see a wide green paddy field on your right when you arrive in Sekinchan. It also popular as a fishing village. Sekinchan is around 1.5hours drive from KL . For those who like to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life, you may take this opportunity for a one day trip to Sekinchan. Sekinchan became famous recently after the shooting of Hong Kong TVB drama series 单恋双城 where they had some scenes taken at the Pantai Redang。 Below are some of the attractions that you can find at Sekinchan.
– 稻田 –
Padi Field
The soil at Sekinchan is very fertile and you can see a very big piece of beautiful carpeted greenish paddy field. Besides paddy field, this is also home for swiflets where you can see they are flying around. In order to enjoy this beautiful scenery, the best time to go is from March to May and September to December. The color of the paddy field will change from green to yellow before harvesting.The left picture shows at the initial stage and it will slowly turn to yellow as the sign of ready for harvesting. The right pictures show after harvesting.
– 热浪沙滩 –
Sandy Beach
每到傍晚时分，热浪沙滩便人群络绎不绝。因为这里是观赏日落的好地方。热浪沙滩还有一个特色，那就是随处可看到吊床亭。可以躺在吊床上一边吹海风，一边看书，慢慢享受悠闲的福气。除了一般的吹海风和散步，还可以放风筝、闲聊、在特定的季节，还能看见各类的季候鸟。
Pantai Redang (Redang Beach) is a hidden beach in Sekinchan, Redang beach is a hidden place that is worth a visit in Sekinchan, particularly if you are already tired of repeatedly shooting in paddy fields at Sekinchan. In fact, Redang Beach (Pantai Redang) is very near the seafood restaurants area at Bagan, so you may go to Redang Beach after a nice seafood meal.
Besides the beautiful beaches, you can also make a wish by throwing red ribbons on to the tree. You may write your wish on the piece of paper given and then throw onto the tree.
– 皇家山 –
Hill of Melawati
山上老树多，猴子也多，群猴攀枝跳椏跃树，趣态横生。
The Hill of Melawati is also home to the Silver-Leafed Monkeys and Long-Tailed Macaques. You can purchase peanuts from vendors around the area at Bukit Melawati and feed the monkey.
You may take the tram to the Hill of Melawati. Ticket can be bought easily at the counter.

Seafood Lunch
Sekinchan initially is a fishing village where most of the villagers occupation is either fisherman. Hence, the seafood sold at the restaurant is very fresh as it is fresh harvest from the sea. And also, the price is much cheaper than other places as it is direct from the sea and less the transportation cost.
